STONE FROM GYLSBODA 

In the region of Skåne, outside the village of Lönsboda, there are three quarries: Hägghult, Duvhult and Gylsboda.

The Gylsboda quarry yields a black diabase with a blue lustre.

Diabase is used primarily as memorial stones, but also as a building stone. It can easily be cut into cobble stones or kerb stones.

Here, we produce about 1500 cubic meters per year.
